Chris Mason Retirement Celebration Weekend

Hello, fellow field hockey and lacrosse alums! As you know, Chris Mason retired this year after 37 years at Williams. To celebrate Chris and her extraordinary career, we are gathering in Williamstown during the weekend of September 22-24, 2017 and having a retirement reception and dinner in Chris’ honor for Saturday, September 23, 2017. We hope this will be a very special weekend and evening for Chris, and I know Chris would love to see each and every alum who played for her. Venture from near and far to join the celebration and to reminisce with your teammates and friends!

Weekend Schedule

Friday, September 22:

• 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.: Informal Gathering, The Log, Spring Street (pay on your own)

For those who arrive on Friday, we will gather at The Log to get the festivities underway. For those with stamina, we may move the gathering to the Purple Pub in the later hours.

Saturday, September 23:

• 11:00 a.m.: Williams Field Hockey v. Amherst
  Williamson Field, Weston Athletic Complex
  Note: Alumni in attendance will be called to join the current Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams to publicly honor Chris.

Come support the Field Hockey team in their battle against the Mammoths!

• 12:00 p.m.: Williams Women’s Soccer v. Amherst
  Cole Field

Venture down to Cole Field to support the Women’s Soccer team in their game against the Mammoths!

• 2:00 p.m.: Williams Men’s Soccer v. Amherst, Cole Field

In the second game of a soccer doubleheader, the Men’s Soccer team squares off against the Mammoths!

• 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.: Chris Mason Retirement Reception and Dinner, Lasell Gym

Sunday, September 24:

• Brunch (pay on your own)
  Alumni are free to gather for brunch at any of the area restaurants, including Chef's Hat, Spring Street Market, and Tunnel City.
